Advertising Design Fall 2025 Software: Adobe Illustrator
This project focused on designing a promotional poster for a college jazz event. The goal was to visually communicate the energy and atmosphere of jazz while creating a composition that would attract attention and engage viewers. I designed the poster in Adobe Illustrator, using a layered approach to build depth and atmosphere.
I explored a vaporwave-inspired aesthetic, incorporating a stylized cityscape with bold color gradients and lighting effects. Dark purples and pinks were used to create a nighttime mood, while spotlight elements helped emphasize the musical theme and focal point. The final design demonstrates my ability to create visual atmosphere through color, composition, and stylistic direction while aligning the design with the theme of the event.
